The five stars are for the food only. Service was ok, I shouldn't have to wait 10 minutes for a tea refill. Everyone knows that I dont really like to give bad reviews but I will speak the truth. My wife had the trio. Which was fantastic.(Thats why I gave 5 stars, great flavor in the meat). The chalupas were ok, but not bad. Service was below what I'm used too. Disappointed. Expected better but I'm not gonna mess up there score with a low grade since the food was good. Service goes a long way though. If I'm not treated right, then I dont return to a restaurant. I guessed I wasn't dressed the right way. Oh well. Well see. Maybe, maybe not. I'm not leaving happy, but I'm not leaving hungry. Food is good service bad. You make your choice. I'm big on service so I dont recommend dining in. Get it Togo.

Breakfast tacos thos am.
The bean and cheese was good but the cheese was piled on thick and did not melt at all with the heat of the beans. The potato and egg taco was good. No salt or seasonings...which is fine by me but may not be your thing.
Drive through was quick.
Tacos were better than average in size.
Sean said the sausage and egg taco was on point.
I would eat here again :) -

We asked and they let us sample the menudo. It was probably the best menudo my wife & I have ever had! The tripe was PERFECT! Soft and tender! No funk, no chewy rubbery texture. Five stars for the menudo alone!! Next time we are trying the Poole, our family favorite. Our bestie ordered shrimp cocktail, which appeared more like a shrimp ceviche with crackers and sliced avocado on top. She let me have a bite ... Omg! Another 5 stars for the shrimp cocktail/ceviche!! Fantastic flavor! And the small was big!!
The only downside was my entree: the #19 steak a la Mexicans. The plate arrived with so much liquid that it might as well have been a soup! As she was setting down my wife's menudo, my entree plate tilted, and poured liquid onto the table. Napkins are in a dispenser on the table, and I used at least 2 handfuls to wipe the table and 3 more handfuls (15ish?) around the edge of my plate to get the excess liquid. I'm assuming the liquid was from the tomatoes and peppers but seriously! Drain them before plating!!!
With all of that said, once I mopped my plate, my entree was TASTY! Enough that I won't dock any stars.
The food was excellent. The service was excellent. The prices were OUTSTANDING!!! Cheap excellent food!! Worth the trip (30 mins) from home. WE WILL BE BACK!!!
2nd Visit 7/10/16
Ordered a large pozole to go. Looks like a 34-44oz styrofoam cup. Came with lime wedges, shredded cabbage, & 2 crispy corn tortillas. They wrapped in foil, which seemed to keep the heat & liquid from ruining the paper bag Then all was enclosed in plastic grocery bag. Got home and it was still perfect temperature. Immediately poured into two bowls & devoured!! Wife is in Heaven!! She said it tastes like her mom's pozole.
Two full bowls (see picture) for $5.99 + tax = $6.48 total. Dinner for two for $6.48 ... EPIC WIN!! A taste of home for my love ... Priceless!! -
